The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a significant loss of human life globally, posing unprecedented challenges to public health, food systems, and the workforce. This work introduces the concept of Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and its application to compare COVID-19 death rates among five different states in India. ANOVA is a statistical method used to analyze differences between the means of multiple samples, providing a systematic way to test for equality among population means. This research utilizes a cross-sectional approach to compare COVID-19 death rates in five Indian states (Kerala, Karnataka, Bihar, Haryana, and Rajasthan) during June to September 2021. The study employs Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to test hypotheses regarding differences in death rates. Results show no significant variation in death rates by month but do reveal significant differences among the states. Notably, the population mean death rate of Kerala is found to be the same as Karnataka. This research sheds light on how the pandemic impacted mortality rates in different Indian states.

Around past ten years, their has been an increase in research in how herbal remedies might treat psychological issues. It was looked into whether solanum xanthocarpum has any antidepressant properties. Using tail suspension test (TST) models and locomotor activity by actophotometer, the anti-depressive potential of Solanum xanthocarpum ethyl acetate extract was examined. Different concentrations of Solanum xanthocarpum, such as 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg, were administered. Imipramine served as the benchmark. In comparison to the normal, diseased control, and standard groups, our investigation revealed the use of EAESX at higher concentration significantly reduced immobile phase in tail suspension and improved movement in actophotometer.

Congenital disorders are rare which includes genetic and chromosomal disorders.These disorders present with variety of clinical considerations challenging to anesthesiologist which also includes difficult airway.Essential information can be obtained from preoperative assessment which includes general physical examination , airway examination, laboratory and diagnostic interventions.It is advised to discuss with senior and well experienced anesthesiologist and always have Plan A, B,C before going ahead with challenging cases.

This article delves into an anxiety provoking realm- the anxieties that befall certain individuals who experience their friends, relatives and colleagues either dying before them, retiring before them, or leaving for a retirement ranch or assisted living facility.

While much has been written about the major forms of anxiety, there are a number of small minor anxieties that are pervasive, and which can cause much consternation and stress. In addition, many of these small anxieties can be cumulative in nature upsetting one’s quality of life and mental health. This paper addresses some of these concerns.
