On dissipative non-slip hydromagnetic flow of Arrhenius kinetics fluid reaction with variable propertiesThe emphasis of this investigation is to examine the non-slip hydromagnetic laminar dissipation flow of Arrhenius kinetics fluid, binary mixture with variable properties and reaction order in a boundless porous vertical device. Without fluid material deformation, the fluid chemical reaction is stimulated by activation energy, branched reaction order and internal heating. The two-dimensional partial derivatives model is transformed into a physical dimensionless thermo-fluid form. With appropriate similarity quantities, the coupled quasi-linear invariant ordinary derivative equations are obtained. Numerical solutions of the invariant dimensionless differential equations are established in tabular and graphical form to demonstrate the sensitivity of entrenched parameters. The investigation outcomes depicted that binary reaction decreased the flow velocity, but raised the chemical reaction species. The material coefficient and activation energy enhanced the heat distribution in the flow medium. Hence, the study will help in industrial development for appropriate selection of their working fluid.

The Entering Characteristics of Students into Senior High Schools and their impact on Academic Performance in MathematicsThe entry characteristics of students from Junior High (early high grade) level into Senior high schools (SHS) can have many repercussions on their academic performance. Such entering characteristics such as age, weight, height, gender, formal school status (grade level of school), background status (whether day, boarding or hostel) and Entry Grade of Students can have advert effect on their academic performance. By adopting a quantitative approach to under study 166 sample students placed into Ghanaian SHS by the computerized school selection and placement system (CSSPS) in Ghana, the study variables were all tested to be significant under z-test, correlation assumptions and regression parameters. We noticed a significance effect of students entering grades and age in the model parameter estimation as moderately correlated with performance in Secondary school. Our analyses of the contrast effects of students’ background as an entry characteristic reveal that, students from Villages, and cities/urban with students from towns was highly significant. We conclude that, on the average, students from towns and nearby villages are performing better in Atiwa Senior High Schools as compared to those from cities. It is recommended to stakeholders of education to consider such entry characteristics of students and place them at their most preferred schools beyond imposition. Researchers can further investigate into other variations existing among such study variables with respect to their dynamic effect on students’ academic achievement.

Biodiesel production from waste cooking oil collected from hotels and restaurantsBiodiesel is an alternative fuel, which is similar to conventional fuel or fossilized fuel. Biodiesel can be produced from straight vegetable oil, animal fats/oil, tallow and waste cooking oil. In this study, waste cooking oil (WCO) was used to produce biodiesel, which were collected from several hotels and restaurants of Tangail municipality area. This study was accomplished by trans-esterification process where methanol (CH3OH), potassium hydroxide (KOH) and WCO were used as raw materials to produce biodiesel. In this study, we got 347 ml of biodiesel from 400 ml of WCO having conversion rate 86.7%. Moreover, physical properties of produced biodiesel including density, viscosity, flash point, water content were measured in this study, which were like the American standard of testing material (ASTM) value of biodiesel.

Agile Methodologies in Software Development: Increasing Team ProductivitySoftware development is now a crucial component of almost every aspect of business, thanks to the growth of the Internet. Businesses are under pressure to expand their product offerings to include web-based services due to customers' overwhelming need for ease and immediacy. In order to satisfy client demands, more and more resources are being devoted to the creation of lucrative software. Companies want to make as much money as possible, therefore they need to allocate these resources as efficiently as possible to keep expenses down. By putting into practice a process model that optimises their resources into high-quality goods, this may be accomplished. Agile software development encompasses a collection of iterative software development approaches in which cross-functional self-organising teams collaborate to evolve requirements and solutions. The experiences of individuals working on real-world projects using Agile software construction methodology following various variants in varying team sizes were investigated by visiting various software houses in a developing nation to ascertain their choice of using Agile software development the method in larger team sizes. Many software companies are switching from conventional techniques to Agile development methodologies as a result of the growing popularity of these approaches. Agile is people-focused and flexible rather than predictive. It promotes a small, cooperative team that collaborates closely. However, team size is a factor that is further limited by human characteristics. These crucial elements are often disregarded when putting Agile into practice. The purpose of this research is to determine the fundamental human elements that need be taken into account while implementing Agile in order for a team to function well. The approach is a study of three Agile teams of varying sizes using Scrum to produce products based on the same technology. Both subjective and objective metrics were used, and a poll backs up the findings. The findings unequivocally demonstrate that choosing the appropriate individuals for the right team is essential to the success of agile approaches.
