Abstract:
This survey explores the synergies between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain technologies, aiming to provide a comprehensive overview of their combined potential in creating intelligent decentralized networks. The objectives include examining fundamental concepts, identifying key principles, and analyzing comparative characteristics of both technologies. The survey highlights how Blockchain can enhance AI through improved data integrity, security, and transparency, while AI can optimize Blockchain operations via intelligent decision-making and automation. Key findings illustrate the diverse applications of AI and Blockchain integration across various domains such as healthcare, finance, supply chain management, and IoT, emphasizing improvements in security, transparency, and efficiency. The survey also addresses significant technical challenges, including scalability, privacy, security concerns, computational efficiency, and interoperability. Future research directions suggest advancements in AI models for decentralized networks, innovative Blockchain mechanisms to support AI applications, and the potential impact on emerging technologies like 6G and quantum computing.
