An Assessment of Global Reports for Risk Projection and Organizational Minimization Strategy: A Case of NestléThis Report presents an assessment of existing global reports upon which risk projections for the year 2024 are based. First, the report considers a selection of risks that are likely to be most severe in 2024, exploring newly emerging or rapidly accelerating economic, environmental, societal, geopolitical, and technological risks that could become tomorrow’s crisis. This projection was done considering (i) severity by assessing the perceived likely impact of global risks over a one year horizon, and (ii) Consequences by assessing potential impacts of a risk arising, to highlight relationships between global risks and the potential for compounding crises. In furtherance, the report explores the connections between the three emerging risks outlined and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and concludes by developing and recommending a sustainable organizational resilience strategy to minimize the three top risks identified.

Institutional Quality and Foreign Direct Investment Nexus: The Nigerian ScenarioThe flow of FDI has largely been undermined in the country, this could largely be due to some underpinning factors among which could be the quality of institutions. It is for this reason that this study tries to examines the nexus between institutional quality and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Nigeria, data were sourced from the acknowledged issues of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) statistical bulletin (2022), National Bureau of Statistics (NBS,2022) and World Development Indicator. Government Effectiveness (GOEF), Quality of Service Delivery (QSDE) and Political Risk Stability (PRSK) were all used to proxy quality of institutions, while Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) serve as dependent variable. The ARDL model was used as techniques of analysis and after establishing the mix order of integration that is I(0) and I(1). The findings revealed that institutional variables are positively related to (FDI) and statistically significant at 1% in both period, which implies that quality of institution matters if the nation must attract foreign direct investment. Specifically, in long run, a percentage change in quality of services delivery and political stability will lead to 9% and 17% change on FDI respectively and they are all significant at 1%. It is recommended that institutions should be enhanced by away of enforcing discipline into civil service, ensure rule of law take its course and create investment conducive environment in order to attract more foreign investment in Nigeria.

Harnessing the Power of NCT 127: Examining the Role of Brand Ambassadors in Shaping Brand Image and Brand Awareness on Blibli E-commerceThe high number of e-commerce users also creates intense competition for companies to develop their creative and innovative strategies to differentiate themselves in the market. This research aims to analyze the role of NCT 127 brand ambassadors in supporting brand image and brand awareness in Blibli e-commerce. The research approach used is descriptive quantitative with data collection methods through questionnaires distributed online. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. The sample taken was a group of people who knew about NCT 127 and Blibli, and knew that NCT 127 was the brand ambassador of Blibli e-commerce. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using SmartPLS software. 3.0 The research results show that the NCT 127 brand ambassador has a positive and significant influence in supporting the brand image in Blibli e-commerce. In line with brand image, NCT 127 brand ambassadors also have a positive and significant influence in supporting brand awareness in Blibli e-commerce. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the presence of the NCT 127 brand ambassador can boost the level of brand awareness and strengthen the brand image of Blibli e-commerce.

This research uses qualitative methods to know the exposure related internal and external factors that affect the development of SMEs together with SWOT analysis to reveal alternatives. Business development strategies of SMEs strategy to innovate products, including product development variants and alternative products of different product choices, preserving the quality of products to maintain good image and business name for the sake of business coherence, improve means and prices of development of SMEs, focusing on marketing products and production processes that are more technological. The development of SMEs requires an effective strategy and a structured development pattern. It requires a creative and strategic approach to maximize economic potential and attract tourist interest. With this approach, SMEs can increase business attractiveness and sustainability as well as make a significant contribution to a richer and more diverse tourist experience at Malalayang Beach Walk.

(Im)morality of luxury business travel: Aligning or prioritizing moral valuesThe global luxury market, particularly in business travel, garners diverse ethical views from consumers. This research investigates how customers' moral attitudes toward luxury consumption and distributive fairness affect their perception of a business's morality, especially in terms of luxury travel offered to employees. Employing a quasi-experimental design, the study assesses how distributing luxury travel benefits (exclusively vs. inclusively) influences consumer attitudes based on their views of luxury and fairness. The findings indicate that while some view luxury travel as inherently immoral, inclusive distribution of these benefits by businesses can shift this perception positively. This suggests that businesses can enhance their moral image by aligning luxury travel benefits with broader inclusivity, thereby addressing varied consumer attitudes, and improving their ethical standing.

The Causes of Increasing Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) in the Banking Sectors of Bangladesh: A Comparative Study between Janata Bank Limited and Dutch Bangla Bank LimitedDue to the fact that borrowers can utilize a variety of credit forms that are linked to lending facilities, there are several ways to establish a credit facility. A worrying issue in the banking sector, meanwhile, is that the loans are not easily recouped following financing for the borrowers. Unpaid loans, or non-performing loans (NPLs), are becoming more common and are having an impact on the financial sector. The problem of nonperforming loans (NPLs) is getting worse for banks, despite the fact that the banking industry is expanding steadily. When it comes to a country's economy, non-performing loans are the main problem. This study examines two well-known banks in Bangladesh and draws comparisons between them regarding the important matter of nonperforming loans. Commercial banking services are available in Bangladesh from both private sector institutions and the state-owned Janata Bank Limited (JBL) and Dutch Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL). Janata Bank had a nonperforming loan percentage of 12.34% in 2015, and DBBL had a proportion of 3.7% due to insufficient funding and an inefficient recovery mechanism. In terms of nonperforming loans, the two banks couldn't be more different, both in terms of the calculated number and the cause of the increase in NPLs. It is common practice to use statistical data, such as a percentage, to ascertain the causes of increasing NPLs. I advised the two banks on how to decrease nonperforming loans and recover their funds after undertaking a thorough investigation.

Mapping the Influence: Government Expenditure and Its Role in Boosting HDI in Bengkulu’s Cities and Regencies, IndonesiaThe study aims to analyze the impact of health function expenditure, education function expenditure, economic function expenditure, and social protection function expenditure on the human development index in districts/cities in Bengkulu Province. As for the type of data and analytical tools used in this study, panel data and double linear regression analysis. Based on the results of panel data regression, the random effect model was obtained as the best model. As for the results of research based on the trial, the results were obtained that partially education function expenditure has a negative impact on the human development index, while health function expenditure and economic function expenditure have a positive and significant effect on the index of human development, while social protection expenditure has no influence on the Human Development Index in the district/city in Bengkulu Province. Meanwhile, simultaneously education function expenditure, health function expenditure, economic function expenditure and social protection function expenditure have a positive impact on human development Index in districts/cities in the province. The value of the coefficient determined in this research model is 0.6631, which means that the capacity of the variable education function expenditure, health function expenditure, economic function expenditure and social protection function expenditure were able to explain the human development index of 66.31 percent, while 33.69 percent was described by variables outside the model. Furthermore, based on the results of this study, the Government of the district/city of Bengkulu Province could raise the human development index by maximizing the management of expenditure on health functions and expenditure on economic functions, as well as improving the pattern of allocation of funds on education functions so that it could affect the increase in the average school life and school life expectancy of the people of the province of Bengkulu, and provide social protection assistance to the people who are truly economically vulnerable.
