A nation's social, economic, cultural, and political development is largely attributed to its higher education system. It considerably influences the values of a country. It raises one's economic standing in society and fosters personal development. Notwithstanding differences in caste, religion, or ethnicity, men and women are equally vital to a nation's development. When considering the overall number of institutions and enrolment, India's higher education system leads the global field. Although around 36.6 billion students are attending higher education, the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) which stands at just 25.8%—is still incredibly low (2017-18). The existing study aimed to investigate various cultural constraints that Muslim women in Kupwara encounter when attempting to further their education. The paper also attempted to provide some suitable solutions to address these problems. Thirty Muslim women from five government degree colleges in the Kupwara district make up the study's sample. The sample was chosen using a simple random sampling method. Thematic analysis was used to analyse and interpret the data collected from the sample. The research findings indicated that Muslim women in district Kupwara encounter various barriers in their pursuit of higher education, including inadequate parental education, unfavourable societal perceptions, disparaging remarks, etc.

This paper discusses the thematic of experimental writing to provide a new dynamism to Anglophone fiction. The aim is to make visible the transformation of English-speaking society through revolutionary writing that structures the imaginary. More specifically, the aim is to use experimental writing to explore new critical representations of society by means of an independent analytical reading of the proposed text. It proposes an ordered explanation and analysis of what is at issue in the text, the author's intentions and the effects produced on the reader, and at the same time requires an explanation of what the author is saying in his text, how he is saying it and why he is saying it, in order to account, by means of the theoretical particularities of experimental writing, for the heterogeneous perspectives of Anglophone cultures.

This article analysed international observers as social actors in Nnamdi Kanu’s agitation for the secession of Biafra. The main objectives of the study were to determine the social actors involved, identify the discursive strategies deployed and discuss the social actors extensively. Van Leeuwen’s representation of social actors’ approach to critical discourse analysis (CDA) served as the framework. The descriptive design was adopted. Nnamdi Kanu’s broadcasts in 2020-2021, a period marked by consistent and increased agitation for Biafra’s secession, were purposively selected. Five of these broadcasts (three in 2020 and two in 2021) were used because of their subject matter. The broadcasts were downloaded from YouTube. The data were subjected to critical discourse analysis. The international social actors identified in the study are Afrrica, the United Nation Organisation, the Great Britain and the Europeans. The social actors and their social practices were excluded through suppression and backgrounding; or included via nomination, activation, collectivisation, association and disassociation. The study concludes that Nnamdi Kanu’s agitation for the secession of Biafra is characterised with the representation of international observers as social actors who are either in support or against his goal. The study concludes that international observers have been represented as social actors who are against the secession of Biafra. Thus, the study recommends that linguistic studies on the use of code-mixing and switching as inclusion strategies by Nnamdi Kanu should be investigated.

This study develops and validates a multiple intelligence test for emerging adults in the UK, addressing limitations of traditional intelligence tests. Drawing on Gardner's theory, the test assesses various domains including interpersonal, kinesthetic, musical, and naturalistic intelligences. Results from a diverse sample of 124 emerging adults show a robust factor structure aligned with Gardner's framework, demonstrating high reliability and concurrent validity with established measures. Discriminant validity analysis indicates effectiveness in distinguishing demographic factors. This study contributes to a more inclusive approach to intelligence assessment, recognizing the complexity of human cognition. Future research should validate the test across diverse populations, advancing our understanding of intelligence and enhancing assessment practices.

What should be the Christian attitude towards the death penalty? The Church has never ruled it out as immoral. However, contemporary Liberalism tends to view it as the barbaric vestige of an unenlightened age, and many Christians esteem that Christianity should be at least as compassionate as Liberalism. This is contested, however, because Christianity has never considered life in this world as the highest value. As self-seeking narcissism becomes the accepted default ethic of our time, however, the one place Liberalism seems to concede that the death penalty may be permitted and even necessary is when narcissism grows beyond civilized bounds and tolerates murder as a violation of the earlier 'human right' to life, unapologetically viewing other people reductively as either instruments for or obstacles to a subject's personal advancement. When they develop into the latter, they may conveniently but unobtrusively be gotten 'out of the way'.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the principal's academic supervision on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 2 Siatas Barita in 2023. The method used in this research is quantitative research method. The population is all teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Siatas Barita with a total of 64 teachers and this research is a population study. Data were collected with a positive closed questionnaire of 46 items. The results of data analysis show that there is an influence of the principal's academic supervision on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 2 Siatas Barita in 2023. 1) Test of analysis requirements: a) positive influence test obtained rxy value = 0.486 > r table (α = 0.05, n = 64) = 0.244 thus it is known that there is a positive influence between variable X and variable Y. b) significant relationship test obtained tcount = 4.380 > t table (α = 0.05, dk = n-2 = 62) = 2.000 thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) Effect test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Y ̂ = 53.452 + 0.278X. b) Regression determination coefficient test (r2) = 23.6%. 3) Hypothesis testing using the F test obtained Fcount> Ftable, namely 19.188> 4.00. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.
