This research aims to explore the impact of parents on the formation of personality among teenagers aged 12-17 in the GPI Lorong Tujuh Youth community in 2018. There is a hypothesis that the role of Christian parents in this process may not be optimal. The method used is literature review, including books, the Bible, and other related literature. The analysis of this literature is expected to provide an overview of the role of parents in shaping teenage personality. From the literature review, there are several key roles of parents in shaping teenage personality in the GPI Lorong Tujuh Youth community in 2018. Parental responsibilities include, but are not limited to: acknowledging the child's gift as a blessing from God (Psalm 127:3), providing education and guidance both in worldly and spiritual aspects (Deuteronomy 31:11-31), setting a good example for the children (Colossians 3:21), and implementing appropriate discipline (Ephesians 6:4). Thus, parents are recognized as the primary agents in shaping the personalities of their children, having fundamental rights and responsibilities in education, especially in matters related to personal values.
