This article analyzes the phenomenon of screen time in childhood, with a particular focus on screen use in informal dining settings. After a review of the international literature on the risks and educational implications of digital exposure, it presents a study conducted in Naples on children and adolescents. This exploratory-descriptive study, based on parent questionnaires, highlights widespread practices of screen use at the table and explores the various implications.
