Controlled Half-Wave Rectifier Analysis to Change Alternating Current (AC) to Direct Current (DC)A controlled half-wave rectifier is a device used to convert alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) with more precise control than a regular half-wave rectifier. The main component used in this device is the Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) which allows for the timing of conduction during the positive cycle of AC waves.
A controlled half-wave rectifier works by allowing an electric current to flow only on the positive half of the AC wave, based on the trigger signal (gate signal) provided to the SCR. This trigger signal determines when the SCR starts conducting during the positive cycle of the AC wave, thus allowing for better control of the output voltage and current.

Quartz veins, evidence of hydrothermalism and postmagmatic process for mineral deposit gold and sphalerite ore in KAAKA area (ADAMAWA- CAMEROON)The locality of M KAAKA is just part the rearrest zones of rich mineral deposits in Cameroon from its high demonstration of geological evolution. The geology of the mineral deposits of KAKAA show the heterogeneous of the rocks types and variable mineralization with the highest concentration in the sector. Quartz veins, and gold deposit that are sufficiently accessible to be studied in detail and seemed deserving of intensive study for the following reasons: It was well exposed; its mineralogy and paragenesis were sufficiently varied yet regular; and its environment was readily susceptible to interpretation. The application of multispectral imagery in mineral exploration and field work reveals the favor zone of mineralization. The distribution of the quartz veins shows a predominant NNE-SSW and NW-SE orientation, similar of the multispectral images orientation, which correlates with the presence of gold mineralization associated with the sphalerite, suggesting strong control by structural elements.. The mineralized quartz veins in KAKAA range between 2 to 10 centimeters, fractured, and characterized by mineral assemblage: quartz ± gold ± sulphide ± pyrite ± chalcopyrite ± hematite ± limonite. They commonly display a simple mineralogy of pink feldspar, quartz and mica are also associated with vein quartz. Numerous quartz veins present the high hydrothermal process which affected the host rocks type characterized by a fine grain quartz- muscovite - biotite and sericite ± chlorite. The ideal target of this work was to identify potential zones associated to gold mineralization and also to evaluate if the mineralogical composition of rock indicates the potential mineralization of the study zone. Detailed relations observed along the quartz veins and sphalerite veins zone suggest that mineralization took place toward the end of the late period of faulting during the post-tectonic event in Adamawa domain through post-magmatic emplacement combined with hydrothermalism.

An Augmented Reality Based Model for Secondary School Students with Improved User ExperienceThis study aims to formal inquiry to discover and examine the facts of the usage of Augmented Reality (AR) in learning science subjects. The research presented an overview of AR Technology in education using the Constructivist Learning Theory (CLT) model along with educational strategies and also provided an analysis of the results of using the AR-based model. The study was conducted students of four different schools of Sialkot, Pakistan in the session of 2022-2023.The study was conducted on 160 students aged 11 to 16 years from four different schools in Sialkot, Pakistan in the session of 2022-23.Students were divided into two groups of equal number of students: one control group and other one experimental group. There were 4 experimental and 4 control groups in total. This methodology has evolved in students learning through traditional method and AR-based model. Methodology used both qualitative and quantitative (mixed) approaches and data collected through pre-test & post-test. As a data collection tools were used: “Achievement Test with Open-Ended& Close-Ended Questions” for result collection, “Attitude Scale Test towards AR Technology” for student’s mentality level checking and “Semi-Structured Interview Form” for opinions. An attitude scale test was initially conducted, followed by a comparative study using both traditional classroom methods and an AR based model. This research explores the impact of these methods on attitudes, with a focus on aligning with constructivist learning principles. A sample of the study was randomly selected 80 students out of 160 for the control group and the rest for the experimental group. After obtaining the results using the traditional methods and AR-based models, the researcher applied p-test and t-test, which showed that the learning outcomes of the students have been increased by using AR-based model. The researcher has applied HCI Heuristic Evaluation (HE) to the proposed AR model and also collected the results of semi-structured interviews, attitude scale test towards AR technology which showed that the use of AR in education has enhanced the user experience and students learning outcomes.

Assessment of ground water in a coastal village of West Bengal using geo-electrical methodThe ground water quality and potential at different depths can be assessed through resistivity soundings and geochemical data. Therefore, Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) assuming Schlumberger configuration were carried out in 12 locations in a sea water inundated village (Kanthalberia) of Coastal West Bengal. Ground water samples were also collected from nearby tube wells. Five geo-electrical layers were found out in the area within a depth of 80 m below ground level. The VES data from one point were compared with bore hole data to assign resistivity values to different layers.
The inter relationship between longitudinal unit conductance (S) and EC of ground water samples showed that EC values increased linearly with S values. Chemical analysis of ground water samples showed that the quality of water was good with low salinity and low alkali hazard and could be grouped as C3S1 under USDA irrigation water quality classification. The approximate quantity of ground water in the study area was computed to be 2.5 ha-m using resistivity fence diagram.

Modeling of Forecasting the Number of Passenger Departures at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Using the Double Exponential Smoothing and Triple Exponential Smoothing MethodsThis study aims to determine the comparison of forecasting methods where the number of passenger departures at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport by comparing the Double Exponential Smoothing and Triple Exponential Smoothing methods. The data used is data on the number of passenger departures at the Domestic terminal and International terminal obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The best method obtained is Triple Exponential Smoothing with Additive model for Domestic terminal with constant value α = 0.8182143, β = 0.0001 and 𝛾 = 0.0454464. As for the International terminal, the best method obtained is Triple Exponential Smoothing with the Multiplicative model with α = 0.9950000, β = 0.0001, 𝛾 = 0.0025000. The accuracy results obtained for the Domestic terminal show a MAPE of 43.68% and MSE of 2437198490.0082073. While the International terminal gets a MAPE of 44.85% and an MSE of 1486733955.6781428.
