Small-Scale Shea Butter Processors and factors influencing their access to Innovation Support Services (ISS)The goal of the study was to look into the variables affecting small-scale shea butter processors' access to innovation support services (ISS). 181 small-scale shea butter producers in 16 administrative districts in the Northern Region provided the study's data. According to the research, 88% of businesses had access to services that supported innovation. These services can be acquired through one's business or business group, clients, rival businesses, as well as suppliers. According to the results of the logistic regression model, a firm's ability to acquire support services for innovation is significantly influenced by its age, group membership, manager's sex, and manager's nationality. The model generated values for Pseudo-r-squared, Chi-square, and Prob > chi2 of 0.164, 21.274, and 0.031, respectively.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: A BOON AND BANE FOR SENIOR CITIZENScience's field of artificial intelligence is concerned with giving machines more human-like ways to solve challenging issues. The area of computer science focuses on getting computers to behave more like people. This typically entails taking traits from human intelligence and applying them as algorithms in a way that is computer friendly. Depending on the defined needs, a more or less flexible or efficient strategy might be used, which affects how artificial the intelligent behavior seems. The demand to create new technology to aid in bettering care for the world's aging population is increasing. Numerous social, economic, and health issues need to be resolved due to how quickly the older adult population is expanding. AI can be very helpful in this area by assisting the healthcare system in meeting the rising demand for senior healthcare services. In this study, we'll examine how AI is helping seniors take better care of themselves.AI-powered products and technologies can assist seniors in maintaining their independence while also improving their quality of life. But, AI may employ threats to senior citizens. They may require support in coping with new technology and managing AI-powered products. Furthermore, elders may be particularly concerned about data privacy and the possibility of misuse or malfunction.AI can benefit seniors in many areas, but seniors must cautiously approach it. Senior citizens must have access to the necessary training and support to use AI safely and successfully. Furthermore, improvement plans to prevent issues such as data protection and ensure that AI is used legally are necessary.Concerning the keywords used, the acronyms and terms that were provided in the some manner were advantageous to the reader in order to educate themselves on the ideas that have been visible in the text while he was reading it.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AS SOCIO-INCENTIVE TOOL IN THE CONSERVATION OF FOREST: INSIGHTS FROM UASIN GISHU COUNTY, KENYACommunity participation is an emerging socio-incentive tool needed to be inculcated in resource management; however, the influencing effect for households to participate is understudied. Therefore, this study sought to determine possible influencing level of participation in forests resources management, and to examine determinants that either support or constraints participation. Structured questionnaire was administered to 234 rural households in Uasin Gishu County, Kenya, while multi-stage and systematic random sampling was employed as sampling procedure. Expressed WTP values from hypothetical market scenarios on either presence or inexistence of participation were used to determine its influence, while determinants of public participation were analysed using OLS regression model. Additionally, Logit model was used to analyse the probability of influence of each selected variable in this study. Results showed that participation is an incentive that could contribute to about 60% of WTP value for the management of forests. Again, OLS regression results revealed that variable of education level (t = 1.052, p< 0.1) and households income (t = 0.2.694, p< 0.05) supports participation, and variable of family size (t = – 0.121, p< 0.01) impedes participation, while their probability to influence was at 55.7%, 57.0% and 49.3%, respectively. These findings point the need to contextualise education level, income and family size of the population when formulating participation policies and programs by the forests conservation authorities. However, significance of random factor (t = 27.094, p< 0.001), with its probability to influence at 73.0%, explains existence of unobserved variables that influences participation suggest the need for further investigation on variables beyond the scope of this study. The implication of this finding informs resource managers to identify and adopt an implementation mechanism that considers critical demographic factors that enhances forests conservation to sustain forests stock flow of consumable products to the communities.
