Analysis of Factors Influencing Fiscal Revenue in Hebei Province
DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19091530
PDFView Article

Fiscal revenue is the core financial guarantee that enables local governments to perform public service functions and promote high-quality economic and social development. Hebei Province, as a major economic province in northern China, is at a critical stage of industrial transformation and upgrading and the deepening of coordinated development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Identifying the core influencing factors of fiscal revenue is of significant practical importance for stabilizing local fiscal operations and assisting in the construction of a "strong economic province and beautiful Hebei". This paper selects time series data from the "Hebei Statistical Yearbook" for the years 2008-2022, takes public budget revenue as the explained variable, and selects regional gross domestic product, foreign trade import and export volume, retail sales of consumer goods, number of employed persons, and per capita disposable income as explanatory variables to construct a multiple linear regression model for empirical analysis. Addressing the issues of some variable coefficient signs not conforming to economic theory and insufficient significance in the initial regression, the model is optimized through logarithmic transformation. Subsequently, economic, statistical, and econometric tests are completed sequentially, verifying that the model has no issues with multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, or autocorrelation. The empirical results show that the number of employed persons and per capita disposable income have a significant strong positive impact on Hebei Province's fiscal revenue, retail sales of consumer goods have a certain positive effect, while the impacts of regional gross domestic product and foreign trade import and export volume are not significant. Considering the actual economic development of Hebei Province, this paper proposes targeted countermeasures and suggestions from three dimensions: enhancing employment capacity, increasing residents' income, and optimizing the economic structure, providing empirical reference and decision-making basis for Hebei Province to achieve sustainable growth in fiscal revenue and promote the improvement of economic development quality.

CHALLENGES FOR THE GREEK ECONOMY AND THE NECESSITY OF A NATIONAL STRATEGY FOR THE NEW INDUSTRIALISATION OF GREECE
DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19344950
PDFView Article

This paper focuses on the research and analysis of the main systemic structural imbalances in the Greek economy, which require urgent addressing. We have shown that most of these imbalances originated during the Greek debt, financial and economic crises that emerged from 2010 onwards. We have examined in detail the causes of these crises and their long-term consequences, such as a structural shift in the Greek economy that could slow economic growth and hinder improvements in the standard of living of Greek citizens. We used a large database to conduct a comparative analysis of Greece with other countries in the EU and beyond based on key indicators, such as the economic complexity index, the innovation and competitiveness index and their underlying factors. Ultimately, we concluded that there is a need to develop a national strategy for the new industrialisation of Greece, to foster innovations, industries with high added value and address structural imbalances.

IMPACT OF WORLD TRADE ORGANISATION (WTO) POLICIES IN INDIA
DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19425952
PDFView Article

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has played an important role in shaping India’s trade and economic policies since its establishment. This paper examines how WTO rules and agreements have influenced India’s economic development, particularly in areas such as exports, foreign investment, agriculture, and industrial growth. The study shows that WTO policies have helped India expand its global trade presence, improve product quality, and attract foreign investment. At the same time, these policies have created challenges for sectors like agriculture and small-scale industries due to increased international competition. The paper highlights both the benefits and limitations of WTO membership and emphasizes the need for balanced policies to protect domestic interests while promoting global integration.

THE APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MANAGING BUSINESS DATA AND KNOWLEDGE IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS
DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19566173
PDFView Article

In today’s dynamic business environment, an organization’s ability to effectively manage data and transform it into strategic knowledge represents a key competitive advantage. This paper explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) as a transformative tool within management information systems (MIS) for optimizing data and knowledge management processes. Through a systematic literature review and a case study of Planjax komerc d.o.o. Tešanj, the paper identifies technological foundations such as machine learning, natural language processing, and agentic intelligence. The results indicate significant financial and operational benefits, including revenue growth of up to 15% and cost reduction through inventory optimization and personalization of the customer experience. The analysis covers the integration of AI into the SECI knowledge conversion model, highlighting the shift from reactive to proactive decision-making. The paper concludes that successful implementation requires a balance between technological innovation, organizational readiness, and ethical standards, thereby establishing a framework for the development of intelligent and resilient business systems in the digital economy.
